The candidate of the All Progressives Congress for the July 14 governorship election in Ekiti State, Kayode Fayemi, says he would have to learn how to dodge bullets from President Muhammmadu Buhari.
Fayemi, who quit Buhari's cabinet as Minister of Mines and Steels Development, said this jokingly today inside the Council Chambers of the Aso Rock Presidential Villa in Abuja at a valedictory session in his honour.
Fayemi had escaped a gunshot last Friday during a reception organised for him at the APC Secretariat in Ajilosun, Ado Ekiti, where a
member of the seventh House of Representatives and governorship aspirant in Ekiti State, Michael Opeyemi Bamidele and five other persons were shot.
It was reported that the bullets came from the rifle of a mobile policeman who was among those deployed in the place to ensure security.
