President
 Muhammadu Buhari is set to honour Abubakar Abdullahi, the 83-year-old 
Imam of Nghar village, who saved 300 Christians during the Plateau 
crisis.
The cleric will receive a handshake and national honour.
Recall
 that an attack occurred on June 24 when suspected herdsmen invaded 
about 15 communities in Barkin Ladi LGA, killing scores.
The
 victims were said to be running for safety from a neighbouring village 
in the area when the cleric invited them in and hid them in the mosque.
The attackers reportedly caught up with him and ordered him to bring out the people he had hidden. 
They had to leave after the cleric refused.
